Minimum Qualifications Permanent service in this title, or one year of permanent competitive service in a title allocated to a SG-7 or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer under Civil Service Law.
Duties Description The duties of this position will include but are not limited to: answering calls from claimants and providers regarding status of claims; reviewing and processing compensation claims filed by crime victims for unreimbursed essential personal property expenses using the OVS automated claims processing system; reviewing files and incoming mail to identify missing documents; preparing correspondence to request additional information and/or reports; scanning, labelling and attaching documents to files; various clerical duties as needed; and additional duties as required by the supervisor.
