Salary RangeFrom $33972 to $41756 Annually
Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
1. Must currently be a permanent Office Assistant 2;
OR
2. Must be active and reachable on the Civil Service Eligible List for Office Assistant 2;
OR
3. Eligible for 70.1 transfer in a designated title determined by the New York State Department of Civil Service. Must take a performance exam to demonstrate keyboarding skills, if you have not held an Office Assistant 1 position.

4. Eligible for provisional appointment*
NOTE: Provisional appointments will only be considered if there are insufficient In-Title and/or Civil Service List
candidates. To qualify for provisional appointment, you must have one year of permanent service in a
clerical or keyboarding title allocated to Grade 4 or higher.
Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION:
Office Assistants 2 either supervise two or more Office Assistants 1 or other lower-level staff; and/or directly perform the more difficult or complicated clerical processing and office support work for which substantive knowledge of the program area is required.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Office Assistant 2 is assigned to Westchester County Teams 2 & 3 and is the Treatment Team Leaders' chief clerical support and will perform the following duties and responsibilities:
1. Maintain IRMA entries and organize reportable incident files.
2. TABS data entry, which is necessary to assure revenue generation.
3. Typing and compiling the necessary documents for all time-sensitive Plans of Corrective Action in response to Statements of Deficiencies related to the health and safety of the individuals living in our state-operated community residences.
4. Screen phone calls and forward to the appropriate staff person.
5. Medical Billing Pilot Entry Program.
6. Monthly Residential and Day Habilitation billing and data entry.
7. Review Quarterly Trial Balances.
8. Monitor and collect monthly fire drills.
9. Maintain and update Service Recipient Record Binders.
10. Update DDP2s when necessary.
11. Monitor and track Facility Max requests.
12. Maintain office supply records and files.
13. Type correspondence, individual reports and evaluations, as needed.
14. Other duties as assigned.

• For CSEA positions: Local Bidding Agreements will be honored.
