Minimum Qualifications The successful candidate must be reachable for appointment on a present, permanent Civil Service eligible list for Office Assistant I, have previously held the Office Assistant I Title, or be eligible for transfer to this title.
•Must be proficient with Microsoft Office applications.
•Must have experience with formatting and keyboarding tasks.

SUNY Delhi is seeking a full-time Office Assistant I to work in the Facilities Department in Custodial Services. SUNY Delhi prides itself on being a welcoming college community for all. Duties Include:
•Providing general office support, which includes receptionist, computer data entry, record-keeping, and filing.
•Performing keyboarding and document preparation, which includes proofreading, formatting and gathering data for reports.
•Transmitting instructions and directions from Custodial Operations Manager and Supervising Janitor.
•Assisting with inventory by receiving products, sorting and unpacking orders, as well as organizing the supply room.
•Maintaining and processing basic financial, accounting, and/or statistical records.
Additional Comments Full-time 12 month position
•Status: Contingent Permanent eligible
•Unit: Administrative Services, SG-6
•Starting Salary: $31,245.
•Schedule: Monday - Friday, occasional weekends
•Reports to: Custodial Services Manager
•Location: SUNY Delhi campus
