Minimum Qualifications Must be able to use small hand tools in performing minor repairs.
Must have knowledge of cleaning procedures, equipment, and products.
Employee must be dependable and cooperative.
Must have ability to supervise staff.
Must be able to work independently and communicate verbally and in writing for the purposes of training and exchanging information.
Duties Description The Facilities Management team is searching for a qualified candidate to join it's team as a full time Janitor. The incumbent in this position will perform a variety of duties including but not limited to:
Perform a variety of custodial tasks including maintenance and repair work requiring basic maintenance abilities.
Clean and care for one or more public buildings and adjacent grounds and sidewalks.
Performs a variety of custodial tasks such as mopping, washing walls, woodwork, etc., operating floor care machines, snow removal equipment, and assist with set-up and take down of events throughout the campus.
Responsible for the supervision and training of lower level custodial personnel.
Additional Comments This is a SG-7 position.
The salary range for this position is $32,972 - $40,742.
The work schedule for this position is 6 p.m. to 2:30 a.m. with Sunday and Monday pass days.
