Minimum Qualifications Reachable on the Administrative Aide/Agency Program Aide eligible list, or eligible for 70.1 transfer.

Duties Description The incumbent of this position will serve within the Public Information Office and perform a variety of tasks which include:

• Responding to a large volume of inquiries through the Exam Information Unit, providing job seekers with detailed information and instructions on civil service examinations and employment-related issues.

• Collecting data and assisting in completing weekly status and monthly summary reports for the Director of Public Information.

• Assisting with phone call and e-mail responses to the Public Information Office, including timely intake and processing of Freedom of Information Law (FOIL) requests and intake for media calls.

• Assisting in review of Department postings and publications to the agency intranet site.

• Serving as the Department Forms Coordinator.

Additional Comments • Experience with Sharepoint and Microsoft Suite Products
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Experience in an administrative office setting
