Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
70.1 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS: Department of Labor employees with one year of permanent or contingent-permanent service in an appropriate title allocated to Grade 7 or higher may qualify for transfer pursuant to Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

SECTION 55-b/c EMPLOYEES QUALIFICATIONS: Department of Labor employees with one year of permanent non-competitive service pursuant to Section 55-b/c of the Civil Service Law, may be eligible for a new 55-b/c appointment to this position if they meet the technical requirements for transfer pursuant to Civil Service Law 70.1 as stated above.
Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:
As a Senior Employment Security Clerk, you would perform general clerical duties associated with Unemployment Insurance (UI) fraud investigations; correspond with claimants and employers via mail and telephone to assist with fraud investigations, and handle all clerical aspects of issuing determinations to claimants.
