Duties Description Candidates hired for this position will be versatile in their duties to support both policyholder services and claims services for the New York State Insurance Fund (NYSIF) Disability Benefits and Paid Family Leave Insurance. Duties may expand to include supporting policyholder and claims services for Worker's Compensation Insurance coverage so that staffing may be applied to the specific needs of the NYSIF operation when it is necessary to provide additional support to customer demands. Specific duties include but are not limited to processing: claims applications, underwriting applications; amending policyholder and claims information, processing payroll reports and providing responses to claims and policyholder customer inquiries that are initiated from telephone, online webmail and postal mail communications.
