Minimum Qualifications Interested candidates must have admission to the NYS Bar and 24 months of subsequent satisfactory legal experience.

Duties Description Legal support to the Division of State Government Accountability

? Perform research and provide legal advice, both verbally and in writing, with respect to issues arising in connection with the management and operations of State departments, agencies, public authorities, and local governments in the City of New York that are audited by the Office. Review draft audit reports and collaborate with other program areas.

Audit-related Litigation

? Work with the Office of the Attorney General in representing the Agency when audit-related litigation is commenced, either by or against the Agency. Tasks include drafting legal memoranda and responsive papers.
