Minimum Qualifications Graduation from a standard senior high school or possession of a high school equivalency diploma or a USAFI GED certificate (high school level). Applicants may substitute a satisfactory combination of education and/or experience assisting in engineering or related work, at the rate of six months of experience for one year of high school.

Experience performing engineering technical work; proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel; good communication and interpersonal skills is preferred.

Duties Description Under the supervision of Division of Air Resources staff, the Engineering Aide will be responsible for the following duties:
1. Assist with review of compliance monitoring reports.
2. Input application, inspection, and report data into Air Facility System.
3. Create and maintain facility information spreadsheet.
4. Work on electronic filing.
5. Assist staff with Freedom of Information Law response.
6. Work on special projects as needed such as complaint response and public information requests.

Additional Comments Must have valid driver’s license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position. Travel may be required.

This is a part-time, seasonal position through March 31, 2020. Program needs and/or funding will determine the actual termination date of the position which may be prior to the date indicate here.
