Minimum Qualifications


In order to be considered for permanent appointment, candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for reassignment or transfer in accordance with Civil Service Law.


Duties Description
Duties of this positions will include, but not be limited to:

• Monitoring, evaluating and identifying deficiencies in data compiled in spreadsheets;
• Summarizing data and compiling quarterly and annual reports;
• Creating fillable forms;
• Monitoring specific websites for notifications of regulatory and/or guidance changes/updates;
• Researching environmental laws, rules, regulations and guidance as required;
• Reviewing and editing written materials such as technical documents and outgoing correspondence;
• Applying a working knowledge and proficiency in Microsoft products (Word, Excel, Access) in order to create correspondence, tables, and spreadsheets; and
• Occasionally providing backup coverage to office Administrative Staff on an as-needed basis (i.e. answering office phone, scheduling meetings, photocopying/scanning)
Responsibilities also may include participating within the Incident Command System to support the department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations.
