Duties Description Under the supervision of a Director, Staffing Services, the incumbent of this position will be in Career Mobility Office (CMO) and will be responsible for the following:
• Leading CMO’s efforts and the nine staff assigned to the unit;
• Directing continuity of employment efforts and the administration of mandatory re-employment lists, including: title comparability reviews; placements with hiring agencies; special clearance requests and candidate restrictions or removals; and developing or updating policies;
• Developing reports and representing the Department at interagency meetings to coordinate job placement efforts and minimize the impact of such actions;
• Identifying agency and employees’ career mobility resource needs, and leading the development, review and update of merit system resources, training, materials and online tools;
• Reviewing and updating work processes and systems to facilitate CMO's work, respond to law, title or policy changes;
• Providing quarterly updates of CMO’s initiatives and progress to GOER, unions, and personnel and affirmative action communities.
