Minimum Qualifications Must have a current New York State Education Department permanent/provisional or provisional/initial New York State Certification. To advance to Teacher 4, you must have New York State Certification and two-years of post-certification teaching experience on the same specialty.

Duties Description Assist the CSE Chairperson in IEP development. ensure that documented efforts are made to show IEP goals re being addressed. Have a general understanding of the TASC Exam and prepare students to be successful on the exam. Update academic profile cards for students at a minimum of once a month. Under general supervision with considerable independence of judgment and action, you will teach elementary, secondary, or special subjects. Duties include preparing course on unit outlines, lesson plans, educational progress reports, individual education plans. Teachers at each level perform specialized tasks with emphasis on the identification and detection of skills.
