Minimum Qualifications Current NYS employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent-permanent, competitive service as an Office Assistant 2 (Calculations) G9, OR a NYS employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent-permanent, competitive service in a position allocated to a salary grade 7 or above and eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Preferred Qualifications:
The preferred candidate would have knowledge of DOH purchasing policies and NYS Finance Law. Experience with C, PA and OP contracts. Knowledgeable in Microsoft Excel.
Duties Description Responsible for processing and invoicing center-wide credit card and SFS purchase requests and monthly credit card reconciliations. Serve as liaison with vendors, administrators, program staff and other internal and external stakeholders to describe goods and services required, negotiate prices and delivery dates and inform stakeholders of purchasing policies and procedures. Manage the center-wide REMI office equipment service contract process. Assist with the procurement process of center-wide discretionary and multi-year consumable and service contracts.
