Duties Description • Use and maintenance of agency fleet, including managing the “onroading” of vehicles (i.e., ordering EZ passes and WEX fuel cards, data entry in various vehicle inventory and maintenance systems etc.).
• Ongoing analysis of fuel and vehicle usage and other cost-saving analyses, including overseeing the fuel facility repairs, maintenance and orders; creating, distributing and administering the OGS fuel card program for use at state facilities; assigning credit card PINS to drivers and State IDs to vehicles.
• Collection, preparation, control and disposition of outgoing written communication.
• Point of contact for agency questions regarding OGS fuel cards and State IDs.
• Purchase, receipt and storage of all office supplies, equipment, etc.
• Receive, run and review vehicle inventory requests received from state agency partners.
• Schedule preventive maintenance and ensure that all required recalls are completed; track, coordinate and approve repairs and payments for maintenance and repairs.
• Maintenance, replenishment and payment processing for toll accounts; schedule vehicles and transportation for staff.
• Timely inspection and registration of vehicles.
• Replacement of vehicles and disposition of surplus vehicles; complete all required paperwork required for the disposition of vehicles.
• Review and audit vehicle use logs and notify agency managers of areas of concern; manage and maintain OGS Driver mileage portal system in the fleet management system (FleetWave).
Operational Needs:
• Must possess and maintain a valid Class D New York State motor vehicle operator’s license

Note: An additional background check is required for the approval to gain entry/access to the Defense Logistics Agencies and Federal Civilian locations (i.e. Military Bases).
