Duties Description The incumbent will conduct medical examinations five days per week at EHS Nurse Stations in Hauppauge, Long Island and Hanson Place in Brooklyn. Additional travel may be required to conduct TB screening tests, immunization programs, venipunctures, Agency Referrals, and other occupational health services at agency sites throughout the Greater New York / Long Island area. Annually, EHS conducts professional training in Albany and the incumbent would be expected to travel and stay overnight for these sessions. The incumbent will work independently without direct on-site supervision with primary duties which will include:

• At least 60% travel expectation within regional counties to provide occupational health services.

• Conducting medical diagnostic tests using a variety of equipment, including blood pressure cuffs, vision machine (ortho-rater), hearing machine, electrocardiography (ECG) machine, and spirometer (pulmonary).

• Performing phlebotomy, calibrating and adjusting instruments, and recording test results independently.

• Obtaining urine samples for drug testing, including a chain of custody forms, and assisting with the packaging of blood specimens.
