Minimum Qualifications Requirements:
•Associate degree in Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, HVAC, or a related field from an accredited institution
•3 or more yrs professional experience with domestic and commercial Refrigeration and A/C, HVAC or a related field
•Valid unrestricted drivers license with an acceptable driving record by the time of appointment
Preferred Qualifications:
•Bachelor degree or higher in a related field
•Teaching experience
•Affiliation with RSES
•Curriculum development experience

SUNY Delhi seeks a dynamic, forward thinking, and engaging faculty to join the School of Applied Technologies starting Fall 2019. This is a full-time, tenure-track faculty member to teach in both the Refrigeration and Heating, Ventilating, and Air Conditioning (HVAC) programs. Desired candidates will have a good working knowledge of both domestic and commercial refrigeration and air conditioning, as well as heat pumps. Beside performing well in both a lecture setting and in the laboratories, the incumbent will serve as an academic advisor, participate in student clubs and their projects, serve on campus committees, and seek other forms of collegiate involvement. Areas of responsibilities include:
Program Development:
•Participate in annual systematic assessment of program
•Participate in analyzing data and make recommendations for curriculum and programmatic revisions where necessary
Teaching Responsibilities:
•Provide evidence-based instruction in accordance with the policies set forth by the College
•Post and keep regular office hours for the convenience of students
•Participate in the assessment of course, student learning, and program outcomes
•Incorporate student service learning opportunities
Advisement:
•Assist in advisement of students
•Guide and counsel students toward personal and career development
•Track student's completion of progression requirements
Academic & Organization Commitment:
•Serve on campus committees
•Mentor Adjunct Faculty
•Special Projects
•Participate in faculty meetings
•Participate in accreditation reviews and reports
•Engage in the academic and organizational life of the college
•Pursue scholarly interests
Additional Comments •Salary: $45,000 - $52,000 depending on degree
•This is a 10-month academic year, tenure track position
