Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION:

The Office Assistant 2 (Keyboarding) provides primary clerical support for the Labor Relations Office and Workplace Violence Prevention Program as assigned by the Secretary 1 and/or Human Resource Specialist 1/2.


PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Facilitating and scheduling of interrogations for CSEA, PEF, Management/Confidential and NYSCOBA represented employees for multiple entities both within and outside of OPWDD.
• Maintaining the master calendar for all Labor Relations events
• Coordinating the service of Suspension, Non-Suspension and Time Attendance Notices of Disciplines.
• Ensuring all appropriate parties are notified of the service of a Notice of Discipline
• Processing of all resolutions of Notice of Disciplines, including Arbitration Decisions and Settlements
• Supporting the processing of 1st Step Grievances
• Supporting the monitoring of driver’s licenses
• Providing clerical support for the Administrative Leave Process
