Minimum Qualifications Candidate must possess ecclesiastical endorsement from the official endorsing agency of the Chaplin's faith or denomination at the time of appointment and maintain such endorsement for the duration of employment.

Duties Description Under the direction of the Pastoral Care Director, the Chaplain ministers to residents and family members regarding religious/spiritual beliefs. As an integral member of the multidisciplinary team, the Chaplain provides spiritual and emotional support for residents, family members and staff within the context of illness, suffering, loss and death.

Duties include but not limited to: Assessing the spiritual needs and desires of residents and family members and documenting such; ongoing ministry in assigned areas; coordinate the provision of services with medical care; conduct and participate in religious liturgical and para-liturgical services in the organization interfaith, administering rites of each individuals faith; weekly resident visitation; participate in scheduled coverage for all days deemed as clinical operational days; counsel residents, caregivers and others by providing guidance on spiritual needs; responsible for appropriate charting in ADL; participate in departmental programs such as Celebration of Life and Staff training and meetings

Additional Comments Hourly rate - $39.00 per hour. We are a 252 bed skill long term nursing facility serving the Veterans of our community who served us.
