Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:

The Office Assistant 3 (Calculations) will assist in a variety of tasks involved in the collection, review and editing of statistical information used in the production of labor market information for New York State and various areas within the state. Typical duties include having responsibility for a portion of a statistical survey workload; conducting address refinement and survey mail-out in accordance with established procedures; contacting delinquent employers to request their participation in the survey and to clarify and resolve any inconsistencies or reporting problems; and using a variety of available data sources and computer programs to process survey data and perform data manipulation activities. You would access system applications to perform routine research and data entry activities. Responsibilities also include: adhering to established procedures in the production of federal performance reports, monitoring compliance with data standards and assuring statistical quality of reported data; including difficult coding and classification decisions.
