Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates reachable on the Civil Service Eligible list(s) will be canvassed. However, you may also apply if you are eligible for appointment by one of the following qualifications:
70.1 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS: One year of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55b/c service in a title Grade 07 or higher determined to be similar by Civil Service.
SECTION 55-b/c EMPLOYEES: An employee with one year of permanent non-competitive service pursuant to Section 55-b/c of the Civil Service Law may be eligible for a new 55-b/c appointment to this position if they meet the technical requirements for transfer pursuant to Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law as stated above.

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:
As a Senior Employment Security Clerk assigned to DEWS you will serve as a central point for disseminating general information about our Career Centers and be responsible for handling all in-bound calls on a continuous basis. Managing correspondence, preparing documents for imaging and updating customer records using the mainframe and OSOS. Assist with various office functions.
Additional Comments Position specific job duties may include occasional altered work schedule or job assignments which require availability and willingness to work occasional evening and/or out-stationed assignments.
