Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Candidates must be reachable for appointment on the current Civil Service Eligible List, Professional Careers Opportunity (PCO) or OPWDD’s Central Office Public Administration Traineeship Transition (PATT). Appointment will be made at the traineeship level.
Candidates must have permanent competitive status in the posted title and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1 or 52.6 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in an advancement of more than two salary grades.
Duties Description POSITION DESCRIPTION:
The incumbent will provide administrative support to the Office of Investigations and Internal Affairs to assist in meeting the core mission of the agency. The Office is a fast-paced environment where the incumbent will be involved in a variety of duties, must have the ability to work with minimal supervision, and the ability to maintain confidentiality.
PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:
• Direct oversight and review of administrative temps across all 13 OIIA regional offices to include the yearly review and renewing of contracts for service;
• Maintaining, editing and reviewing all scheduling requests for the Director of OIIA;
• Editing and creating executive Correspondence for the Director;
• Creating and maintaining OIIA onboarding and exiting process for all OIIA personnel;
• Documenting and reviewing all required team trainings;
• Maintaining all OIIA SOP, in-service trainings and the maintenance of OIIA yearly Strategic Initiative;
• Coordinating all regional requests for supplies, meetings and communications with Central Office (Director and Assistant Director); and
• Coordinating the schedule when necessary for the Assistant Director of OIIA and any other request as delegated by the Director.
