Duties Description
This position will support the Department’s operational readiness and situational awareness by performing a variety of functions and support services that assist in ensuring the advancement of the State’s Emergency Transportation Operations (ETO) program operation strategies, deployment and integration.

Assist with ensuring STICC’s response readiness and the ETO program in its mission to progress in its goal to enhance preparedness, response and recovery capabilities. Exercise a considerable amount of independent judgment in performing duties and ability to determine the needs and priorities to support ETO staff and operations.

Duties will include, but not limited to:

• Assist with the development and improvement of agency procedures in support of Emergency Transportation Operations (ETO) unit.
• Assist with coordination, development of Main Office and statewide training program.
• Maintain records and documentation as directed to support the overall ETO operations including Statewide ETO Strategic Plan.
• Prepare written summaries, reports and apply agency procedures in support of ETO unit.
• Responsibilities will include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the Department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations.
