Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

70.1 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS: Current New York State employee with one year or more of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55 b/c service in a position allocated to a Grade 11 or above and eligible for transfer under section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:

As a Program Aide in the Communications Office, the incumbent will:

• Answer phones from media outlets, the public, and internal staff
• Maintain office supplies
• Enter SFS E-Procurement Requests
• Update calendars
• Prepare retirement certificates, condolence letters, Commissioner’s correspondence, and Publicity Clause Agreements
• Set up meetings on behalf of the Director and Associate Commissioner
• Track incoming and outgoing correspondence
• Make travel arrangements for staff
• Enter travel expense reports for the Director and Associate Commissioner
