Minimum Qualifications To be considered for permanent appointment, candidates must be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list or be eligible for reassignment or transfer in accordance with Civil Service Law.
Duties Description The Office Assistant 3 (HR) will oversee and perform general administrative support activities for Office of Human Resources (OHR), which includes the Employee Relations, Workforce Learning & Development and Personnel Bureaus.
Duties may include, but are not limited to:
• Supervise clerical staff engaged in administrative support activities and provide assistance to OHR managers as well as OHR staff. This includes managing office workflow, creating reports, gathering and tracking various information, maintaining files, managing correspondence, and ensuring high quality customer service for internal & external customers.
• Maintain and update Office of Human Resources websites and forms.
• Additional assignments as required.
Responsibilities may include serving a role within the Incident Command System to support the department’s response to regional and statewide emergency situations.
