Permanent qualification: Candidates must currently be a permanent Secretary 1 OR be reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list
Transfer qualifications: Candidates must be eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.
Duties Description The Secretary 1 will be assigned to the Quality Improvement (QI) Department of Taconic DDSOO and will also serve as the QI Director’s Secretary. The duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
• Create and update SharePoint sites
• Complete Litigation Holds and Record Requests from outside requestors
• Attend meetings, as needed, and completing minutes
• Complete clerical tasks of the Administrator on Duty/Administrator on Call system, including communicating the schedule and liaise with the contracted company as needed
• Maintain records of all Jonathan’s Law requests
• Maintain records of Operating Certificates for all locations
• Serve as primary TABS Coordinator for the agency
• Maintain the privacy and confidentiality of all protected health information records
• Provide oversight in Health Information Management (HIM)
• Yearly Fire Department Invitations
• Every 3-year Narcotic License Applications for ICF’s
• Maintain multiple Excel spreadsheets at the direction of the Director of Quality Improvement
• Yearly Family/Advocate Information Packet
• Additional duties as assigned
