Duties Description Primary responsibilities include, but are not limited;
• Supervision of the PHS mail project and DB New Business/Policy Project (supervision of up to 4 employees) to ensure NYSIF meets our daily deadline
• Assignment of policy mail work between available staff members on any given day
• Quality review of your staff’s work in order to make necessary changes before documents go over to the vendor daily
• Occasional checking in/verifying all packages were received in the DCC’s daily UPS shipment
• Liaison between NYSIF and NYSIF’s vendor for questions about scanning/indexing process on the two above projects
• Ability to recognize and communicate errors to DCC Supervisor for the vendor’s monthly billback invoices
• Assisting your staff with opening mail, date stamping mail, adding document separators to split docs, category and form codes as needed
• Constant Quality Review/Quality Control of documents scanned into NYSIF’s system electronically by vendor
The hours are Monday thru Friday from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, 7.5 hours per day. NYSIF is seeking candidates with the ability to supervise, work independently and be highly-motivated. Candidates are expected to stay focused and carry out their tasks in a timely and accurate manner, be detail-oriented, dependable and trustworthy since they come in contact with complex and sensitive documents. General requirements also include impeccable attendance, the ability to prioritize, manage time well, multitask, troubleshoot, strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.”
