Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable on the appropriate Civil Service eligible list.

OR

Candidates must have permanently served at least one year in a title designated as appropriate for transfer in accordance with Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law.

Transfer eligible titles include but may not be limited to: Office Assistant 2, Office Assistant 2 Calculations, Office Assistant 2 Keyboarding.

Duties Description Duties of this position include, but are not limited to: responding to stakeholders to provide and process information via telephone, electronically or work requests in a professional manner. Call center duties include ensuring callers are given accurate information; using Board tools efficiently to provide accurate information in a clear, concise, and understandable manner; managing difficult callers in a professional manner according to procedures. Other duties include updating claims information, providing call backs to parties requiring information and performing in-depth requests to the Examining unit when necessary; processing forms received and making changes to case files when necessary.
