Minimum Qualifications Permanent service in this title, or one year of permanent competitive service or 55-b/c service in a title SG-13 or higher and otherwise eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law or reachable on the current Civil Service eligible list for this title.

Duties Description Reporting to the Deputy Director for Administration, the duties will include, but are not limited to:

• Organize work flow with Executive staff and units;
• Monitor and track assignments, and follow up as necessary to ensure deadlines are met;
• Prepare written materials, including waiver requests, basic directives to agency personnel, updates to intranet information, and reports;
• Compute travel expense reports;
• Gather estimates for costs of routine matters such as travel, purchases, etc.;
• Update spreadsheets, databases and various control and federal agency systems;
• Assist units under Deputy Director of Administration’s authority with routine tasks;
• Assist in the assigning and management of SFS Roles;
• Assist with the review and submission of reports related to federal grant awards;
• Schedule meetings;
• Answer phones, take messages and handle routine requests;
• Maintain paper and electronic files; and
• Special projects and assignments as needed.

Additional Comments Appointment is subject to Division of Budget waiver approval.
