Minimum Qualifications EDUCATION:
• An Associate’s degree may be substituted for two (2) years of general business systems analysis experience.
• A Bachelor’s degree may be substituted for four (4) years of general business systems analysis experience.
• A Master’s degree in a related field may be substituted for one (1) year of the general business systems analysis experience
• A Certified Business Analyst Professional (CBAP) may be substituted for two (2) of the seven years of general business systems analysis experience.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum Qualifications must be met to be considered for an interview.
At least seven (7) years of experience in business systems analysis, including planning; elicitation of requirements; analysis and validation of all recommended changes to processes; designing solutions; developing testing plans; supporting implementation and documentation of solutions with stakeholders.

At least one of these years must have been in utilizing an Enterprise Resource Planning system (ERP) to implement system change processes (eg. Oracle, SAP, SAGE, ECI, Netsuite, Peoplesoft, etc.)

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Preferred Qualifications are not required, but will be considered in the candidate’s favor.
Knowledge and understanding of payroll processing.

Experience reading and writing SQL Plus and Toad software to access PeopleSoft tables.

Hands on knowledge of providing analysis, testing and writing requirements for PeopleSoft HCM Payroll and/or PeopleSoft Financials.

Duties Description Participate Business Analysis
Performs a variety of tasks within each of the Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BABOK) knowledge areas with considerable autonomy.
• Solution Assessment
o Defines the business needs driving the need for a project.
o Assesses capability gaps of existing solutions.
o Determines solution approaches to meeting business needs (in concert with higher-level BSAs).
o Defines the scope of a solution (in concert with higher-level BSAs).
o Defines the business case for a new/modified solution.
o Assesses proposed solutions (in concert with higher-level BSAs).
o Allocates requirements across solution components/releases (in concert with higher-level BSAs).
o Assesses organizational readiness to implement a new/modified solution.
o Defines transition requirements to implement a new/modified solution.
• Solution Validation (testing)
o Validates that solutions meet business needs (by developing test data and scenarios, testing system functions, and documenting results).
o Evaluates solution performance against business goals and objectives.

• Requirements Elicitation
o Prepares for elicitation activities.
o Conducts elicitation activities.
o Documents the results of elicitation activities.
o Confirms the results of elicitation activities.
• Requirements Management & Communication
o Assists in managing solution scope and requirements.
o Assists in managing requirements traceability.
o Maintains requirements re-usability for future business events/initiatives.
o Prepares requirements packages.
o Communicates requirements.
• Solution Implementation
o Develops training and user support materials.
o Assists in updating organizational process assets.

Oversee management of work activities and supervision.
• Supervise staff assigned to re-engineering projects.
• Manage work activities of staff and provide guidance to staff.
• Review work products and provide timely feedback.
• Ensuring the timely and accurate completion of all work activities performed by subordinate staff.

Additional Comments PREFERRED COMPETENCIES:
• Demonstrated experience creating and writing test scripts.
• Knowledge and understanding of Payroll Processing.
• Experience in performing a fit/gap analysis on existing customizations to move to delivered functionality.
• Experience in reading and creating SQLs.
• Experience using SQL Plus and Toad software.
