Minimum Qualifications Senior Administrative Analyst (SG-18):

Eligible for a lateral transfer or eligible for a 70.1 transfer or a 52.6 transfer by having one year of permanent competitive service in an appropriate title;

OR

Administrative Analyst Trainee 1(SG-NS):

Eligible for a lateral transfer or eligible for a 70.1 transfer or a 52.6 transfer by having one year of permanent competitive service in an appropriate title;

OR

Reachable on the appropriate eligible list in Albany.

Duties Description Duties of this position include but are not limited to the following:
• Supporting OTDA organizational units in identifying and mitigating risks to the achievement of the agency’s mission through internal controls documentation, analysis, and training.
• Leading process improvement projects, either as an Empire Belt or as a Project Sponsor; facilitating Lean project kaizens; and tracking project plan implementation and performance metrics. Leading or supporting process improvement projects at the local social services district level, as needed.
• Supporting the redesign, revision, and republication of inter-agency forms and other materials used by applicants and recipients to apply for and re-certify for benefits and services.
• Planning for inter-agency collaborations with local social services districts and other partners.
• Completing special projects, as needed.

Additional Comments Appointment to this position is contingent upon Division of Budget approval to fill. A full-time, permanent appointment will be made. If certified by Civil Service, mandatory reemployment list candidates must be considered first for appointment to this title.

Starting Salary for Trainee 1: $42,986
