Minimum Qualifications EITHER: 1) Reachable on the Civil Service eligible list; OR 2) Eligible for reassignment by virtue of having permanent competitive service as an Information Technology Specialist 2 (SG-18); OR 3) Eligible for transfer under the provisions of the Civil Service Law by virtue of having one year of permanent competitive service in an appropriate title.
Duties Description The Information Technology Specialist 2 (G-18) will work under the general supervision of an Information Technology Specialist 3 (G-23). They will be a member of the O365 Productivity team. Candidates must possess strong organizational, technical and customer service skills. Job duties include but are not limited to the following:
DUTIES:
• Leverage the MS O365 suite of productivity tools, including Outlook, SharePoint, OneDrive, Exchange and PowerApps to meet the communication and collaboration needs of the agency.
• Manage the OAG’s user email accounts, calendars and archives.
• Perform all phases of the user management lifecycle in Active Directory, including creations, deletions, transfers and provisioning of access control rights.
• Utilize MS InTune to provision, configure and troubleshoot agency staff’s mobile devices.
• Create task automation and configuration management scripts using PowerShell.
• Research industry best practices and incorporate with organizational practices.
• Conduct system testing and health monitoring and troubleshoot as needed.
• Maintain product information regarding licenses, warranties and service agreements.
• Utilize the ServiceNow ticketing system to manage and prioritize user requests and incidents.
• Support agency product rollouts and training needs.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• Experience using and customizing Microsoft Office products.
• Strong organizational skills.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Previous experience managing user accounts.
• The ability to multi-task and work independently.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
