FOR PROVISIONAL APPOINTMENT: One year of experience as a Developmental Disabilities Program Specialist 1.

Duties Description The DDPS2 will serve in a supervisory role in the Metro Manhattan DDRO office. They will support the core mission of OPWDD and regional office operations and report directly to the Community Services Administrator (CSA). Regional Office responsibilities include but are not limited to OPWDD operations and processes including the Front Door, eligibility, capacity management, Family Support services, self-direction, and Willowbrook. The DDPS2 will supervise staff at the regional office and provide support to the CSA in managing the regional office. Responsibilities will also include supervising the self-direction, family support, supported employment, service amendment teams. Additionally, the DDPS2 will chair the Quality Review Team, serve as an administrator on-duty, respond to and work with families to address issues and concerns, provide administrative oversight in the absence of the CSA, and work on special regional office projects as assigned.
