Duties Description Under the general direction of the Manager of Licensing and reporting to a Chief Clerk, the incumbent will be responsible for the application process for the Licensing Bureau. The application process consists of entering data into the Bureau’s respective database and imaging or scanning of all files as a part of the Bureau’s electronic repository of documents. Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
• Review and process applications for gaming, horse racing, and lottery as necessary.
• Process and research DCJS reports on prospective applicants.
• Process Bureau’s mailings as necessary.
• Enter and maintain the workflow into the Bureau’s respective databases and scan required documents as part of the Bureau’s electronic databases.
• Interact with the public and the Commission’s central staff and regional offices to ensure that all licensing procedures are adhered to.
• Respond to license status requests.
Additional Comments Appointment will be contingent upon completion of a fingerprint background check before an official appointment offer can be made.
