Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 4 years office experience or bachelor's degree plus 2 years office experience.

Duties Description The New York State Commission on Judicial Conduct is seeking an administrative assistant who is detail oriented, organized, versatile, able to adapt to changing priorities and to work discreetly with sensitive and confidential matters. Solid computer skills required; familiarity with the NY court system a plus. Excellent benefits.

Duties include:
• typing correspondence;
• scanning documents to electronic network;
• providing support to administrative, investigative & legal staff;
• receiving, sorting, logging, scanning & distributing incoming mail, faxes & email;
• organizing daily press clips;
• providing reception coverage;
• data entry & support for case management system;
• assisting Information Officer with tasks related to the dissemination of materials to Commission Members; and,
• other administrative, secretarial & clerical duties as assigned.

Additional Comments Required skills:
• Proficiency in Microsoft WORD and EXCEL and Adobe
Professional
• Fast, accurate typing
• Comfortable moving scanned documents in a network
• Integrity, honesty, trustworthiness and discretion
• Patient and calm telephone manner in dealing with the public
