Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

70.1 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS: One year of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55b/c service in a title Salary Grade 11 or higher determined to be similar by Civil Service.

52.6 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS: One-year of permanent, contingent-permanent, or 55 b/c service in a title Salary Grade 11 or higher determined to be administrative by Civil Service.

70.4 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS: Candidates with (1) one year of permanent, contingent-permanent or 55 b/c service at a Salary Grade 11 or higher AND (2) a Bachelor’s degree* with a passing score on the the PCO or PATT exam may be considered for a 70.4 transfer to a Human Resources Specialist Trainee 1. Note: Candidates must have not failed the most recent examination for this title.

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:

In the Performance Management Unit the incumbent will serve as the primary personnel liaison to provide assistance, advocacy, guidance, and advice on all facets of performance management.

• Review and provide recommendation to the Human Resources Specialist 2 on probation termination requests.
• Work directly with the Office of Leadership and Development, the Office of Employee Relations, Department of Labor Counsels Office and other programs on all matters related to employee performance issues.
• Work with program area representatives to assure all performance documents have been completed for DOL employees.
• Supervise/oversee the Transaction Unit.
• Approve transactions in Human Resource Information System (HRIS) and Human Capital Management (HCM).
• Run reports in HRIS and HCM.
• Participate in other special projects as assigned.
