Minimum Qualifications Position Summary:
The School of Dental Medicine at the University at Buffalo is seeking a full-time Office Assistant 1 in the Restorative Dentistry department. Restorative Dentistry is the largest department in the School with over 85 faculty. The incumbent will work closely with the Assistant to the Chair and with the Implant and Laboratory Accountant. Main job duties include but are not limited to:

• Serve as receptionist in main area of Restorative Dentistry, working with various faculty and staff respond to standard inquiries; answer telephones, receive and distribute mail.
• Type correspondence for the Chair and Assistant to the Chair and various faculty, (e.g., letters, exams, e-CVs); input grades in UB Learns, proctor exams
• Create electronic personnel transaction forms (e-PTFs) for faculty appointments, reappointments. and change of status
• Share in taking faculty meeting minutes/transcribing/typing and distributing.
• Maintain copier and supply room, order supplies; file
• import/track credentials for faculty.
• Enter laboratory/implant statistical data onto spreadsheets; copy, sort, match and file laboratory/implant paperwork.

Familiarity with working in an academic setting; assisting faculty and students.
