Minimum Qualifications Interested candidates must currently be on the Information Technology Specialist 2 eligible list OR be eligible to transfer under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.
52.6 Transfer:
Candidates must have one year of permanent, competitive service in a qualifying title allocated to salary grade 16 or higher.
Duties Description • Support of Office 365 environment and requests generated; including but not limited to:
o Continued support of Outlook, Calendaring, Skype for Business and Teams for customers.
o Create and maintain shared mailboxes, distribution lists, Office 365 groups, Teams and SharePoint sites.
o Provide support assistance to any project involving an Office 365 product.
o Assist with transition from Skype for Business to Teams for Chat.
o Assist on requests filed by Computer Security Incident Response Team (CSIRT).
• Prepare reports as requested using Office 365 Administration Center.
• Document and test upgrades and new features as they provided in Office 365.
• Maintain and troubleshoot RightFax.
• Monitor ServiceNow incidents and requested items to ensure they are worked on and closed in a timely manner.
• Work on the Office 365 project team in rolling out future phases, such as:
o SharePoint.
o OneDrive for Business.
o Office Pro Plus.
o Intune.
• Rotate in on call responsibilities associated with the e-Collaboration team.
• Update documentation as needed.
• Collect information on existing and new application features.
• Prepare documents for various customers, technical and non-technical.
• Update documentation as needed.
Additional Comments Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
• Demonstrated IT related degree.
• Demonstrated coursework in Computer Architecture (2-4 credits).
• Demonstrated coursework in Distributed Systems (2-4 credits).
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Outlook (3 months to less than 1 year).
• Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Active Directory (3 months to less than 1 year).
