Salary RangeFrom $73284 to $92693 Annually
Minimum Qualifications Reachable on current Civil Service list for this title; one year of permanent, competitive class service as a Project Manager 1; or one year of permanent, competitive class service in a title within two S-grades deemed eligible for transfer via Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law.
Duties Description The Project Manager 1 will work in NYSIF's Executive Project Management office (EPMO), which is responsible for carrying out projects identified by Executive and Management in the strategic plan. Duties include, but are not limited to:
- Lead of the two Complex Project Teams in the EPMO, which is responsible for developing project management plans and documents to coordinate and support the activities for their assigned complex projects
- Review project proposals, define basic scope statements, define high-level requirements, determine project start and end dates, establish critical milestones within the project schedule, and work with the communication team to on project announcements to our stakeholders. Post-implementation, the PM 1 will identify and monitor project performance metrics, compile project reports and communicate project status
- Manage a department portfolio
- Lead LEAN projects
- Supervise, train, and mentor project management staff as assigned
