Minimum Qualifications MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

52.6 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS: An employee with one year of permanent competitive service in a title equated to grade 23 or above and designated administrative under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law, may be eligible for transfer.
*Consecutive transfers cannot result in more than two salary grades, or one M-grade.
70.1 TRANSFER QUALIFICATIONS: An employee with one year of permanent competitive service in one of the following titles may be eligible for 70.1 transfer:
Associate UI Hearing Representative, Gr-23
Associate UI Internal Security Specialist, Gr, 23
Associate UI Internal Security Specialist, Gr-23
Associate UI Reviewing Examiner, Gr-23
Tax Compliance Manager 1, Gr-23

Duties Description STANDARD DUTIES:
Under the general direction of the Unemployment Insurance Program Manager 4, with detailed knowledge of Unemployment Insurance Laws, rules, regulations, policies and procedures, the incumbent is responsible for the direction and management of all statewide functions related to the processing, transmission, dissemination and/or retention of Unemployment Insurance paper and electronic records. This includes the modification, design and/or PT 145 (9-96);
implementation of procedures, policies and systems in response to new technology, legislation or departmental/divisional changes which effect the processing, transmission, dissemination and/or retention of Unemployment Insurance paper and electronic records. This position directs the Record Section’s Imaging, the Telephone Claims Center (TCC) Central Support Subsection supervisors and the Record Section operations
Additional Comments Please Note: Positions in the Unemployment Insurance Division may be in-person, remote, or partially remote and partially in-person. Remote employees will be required to report in-person if directed. Positions may be subject to mandatory and/or voluntary overtime, which may include evening and weekend hours. Shift start times may vary based on operational need.
