Minimum Qualifications Current New York State employees, with one year of permanent service in a Grade 12 or higher title eligible for transfer under Section 70.1 of the Civil Service Law, or currently in an Office Assistant 3 (Calculations) position eligible for transfer.
You may be eligible for Section 70.1 transfer if you have one year of permanent/contingent-permanent, competitive service in a transfer eligible title.

Duties Description The incumbent of this position will work in the Swan Street Building DMV in Revenue Accounting. Duties include but are not limited to:

· ID Card Billing - Compile CBN ID card production reports (comes from contracts unit), develop billing, generate and deliver invoices, maintain balances and payments on appropriate spreadsheet.

· SFS Roles - Knowledgeable on the various modules in SFS as related to role changes. Respond to employee requests for changes, such as: official work station, proxy roles and supervisor roles/changes

· Financial Security Assessment - Collect check payments, log checks into database, record documentation, and deposit through internal deposit process

· Accounts Payable/Invoice Tracking:
a. Pay approved invoices via E-Settlements using payment information provided by program units.
b. Develop and maintain knowledge of the E-Settlements module in SFS.
c. Process Journals: Complete inter-agency journals as necessary. This includes working with the DMV budget office to determine appropriate accounting coding to be used as well as coordinating execution of journal with external agency for coding/approval process.
d. Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of the SFS Accounts Payable modules including journals, requisitions, vouchers and procurement card reconciliation.

· Cash Advance Accounts:
a. Become knowledgeable in VersaCheck check writing software to issue checks and order new checks as necessary
b. Monitor shared mailbox for incoming check requests. Issue and log check requests and maintain all documentation in proper locations.

· Travel:
a. Maintaining a current knowledge of travel policies, regulations, and principles.
b. Develop and maintain extensive knowledge of the SFS travel module. Attend trainings and maintain awareness of any changes to the module.
