Minimum Qualifications At least one college course in GIS and an independent study utilizing GIS, or GIS certification/certificate, or 1 year of professional experience using GIS to perform job duties.
Preferred qualifications: proficiency in MS Access, Excel, and Python, Visual Basic or other programming language. Experience in building map-based APPS.

Duties Description Create and maintain GIS feature classes which include but not limited to lake and river fisheries regulatory and recreation information, fishing public access, and hydrography. Duties include entering and maintaining data within existing databases and GIS feature classes.
Additional Comments Must have a valid driver’s license or demonstrate the ability to meet the transportation needs of the position. Overtime and overnight travel may be required. Weekends and holidays may be required.
This is a seasonal, hourly appointment with a duration through 11/30/2021. Program needs and funding will determine actual termination date, which may be prior to date listed. Actual work schedule, duties and travel requirements may vary and will be discussed at interview.
