Minimum Qualifications -Must be able to effectively follow instructional material and in-person instruction.
-Must possess and maintain a valid NYS driver’s license as a term and condition of employment.
Duties Description -Operate and maintain powered equipment such as backhoes, front loading garbage trucks, beach loaders/packers, and small hand tools.
-Perform general maintenance including but not limited to beach grading, trench digging, garbage removal, and light equipment maintenance
-Load, carry, or unload material of varying weights and sizes as required.
-perform other duties as required as assist other trades positions.
Additional Comments -Any prior experience in equipment operation is a plus.
-Under the provisions of the Omnibus Transportation and Employee Testing Act (1991), this position has been designated Safety Sensitive. The incumbent is required to participate in pre-employment, random, and post-accident drug and alcohol testing.
Some positions may require additional credentials or a background check to verify your identity.
