Minimum Qualifications Possession of a license to practice as a registered professional nurse in New York State and one year of post license clinical nursing experience.
Duties Description Administers medication to individuals and monitors individuals for reactions, records vitals, monitors symptoms or changes in individuals’ conditions. Conducts health assessments, diagnose, and treat individuals to actual, potential, or diagnosed health problems through the provision of care supportive to or restorative of life and well-being; and execute medical regimen prescribed by a licensed health care provider. Nurses also serve on the interdisciplinary health care teams and health related committees to plan and implement health care.
