Duties Description Under the supervision of the Park Worker 3, the incumbent will:
• Assist in landscaping upkeep, including but not limited to: mowing, trimming, seeding, planting, trash removal, snow removal, and other aspects of general grounds maintenance.
• Operate state vehicles and minor maintenance of site equipment.
• Assist in routine cleaning and building maintenance, including but not limited to: cleaning restrooms, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting and other minor maintenance tasks as needed.

Additional Comments OPERATING NEEDS:
• Experience in grounds maintenance, facility maintenance, general carpentry, and mechanical experience are a plus.
• Must be available to work weekend, holidays and occasional evening events.
• Ability to safely operate power-driven equipment (mowers, trimmers, blowers, etc.).
• Ability to work outdoors for extended periods of time and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must demonstrate a friendly demeanor and the ability to work well with the public.
• Must possess and maintain a valid New York State driver’s license as a term and condition of employment
