Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree and two years of relevant administrative experience.

Candidates should be prepared to take a typing and computer literacy test.

Duties Description Primary responsibilities include:
• typing correspondence;
• scanning documents to electronic network;
• providing support to administrative, investigative & legal staff;
• receiving, sorting, logging, scanning & distributing incoming mail, faxes & email;
• organizing daily press clips;
• assisting LAN Administrator with IT and administrative IT tasks;
• assisting Information Officer with tasks related to the dissemination of materials to Commission Members;
• providing occasional reception coverage; and,
• other administrative, secretarial & clerical duties as assigned.


Additional Comments The incumbent should be detail oriented, organized, versatile, able to adapt to changing priorities and to work discreetly with sensitive and confidential matters. Excellent computer skills required; familiarity with the NYS Unified Court System a plus.
