Duties Description PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
The Rehabilitation Assistant 1/2 (RA1/2) at the Ulster Day Program ensures the continuation of prevocational services and employment opportunities for individuals who are returning to district from the ITO's and is essential for providing opportunities for employment to special populations and high behavior needs individuals who cannot be served by voluntary agency programs. The primary responsibility of the RA1/2 at the Ulster Day Program is to directly supervise the prevocational job opportunities for individuals from both the local IRA's this includes direct participation in all work crews, providing training and supervision for all individuals in the program.

Duties include but are not limited to:
• Explore new employment and volunteer opportunities for the individuals.
• Complete hourly wage determinations in a timely manner at least twice annually and submit them to the RC2.
• Participate in time studies as needed or directed by RC2.
• Attend all meetings for assigned IRA individuals and complete all necessary documentation.
• Complete pre-vocational notes and summaries.
• Complete invoices for all Ulster Program contracts.
• Complete annual FICA recertification's and eligibilities.
• Attendance and billing reports for individuals in the pre-Voc and Day Hab areas.

Additional Comments You must have a valid driver’s license to apply as travel is a part of the duties involved in this position. This may include a state-owned vehicle, as available, or the employee’s own car. An employee who uses his/her own car will be reimbursed at current negotiated rates.
