Minimum Qualifications Candidates must be reachable for appointment on current Civil Service List for this title. OR
Candidates must have permanent competitive status in the posted title and be eligible for lateral transfer; OR be eligible to transfer via Section 70.1 of Civil Service Law. The transfer cannot be a second consecutive transfer resulting in an advancement of more than two salary grades.
Duties Description -Support ongoing Waiver and Agency Initiatives related to Enhanced Federal Matching. Perform as key member of guidance development, editing and review for new program implementations.
-Provide technical support for DOH initiatives that impact OPWDD, ie Electronic Visit Verification (EVV), Community First Option (CFCO), and Care Coordination Organization/Health Home (CCO/HH).
-Ensure program compliance in coordination with NYS DOH.
-Coordinate activities with CMS Federal Coordinated Health Care Office and review managed care plan compliance with requirements for serving children with Intellectual Developmental Disabilities (IDD).
-Draft documentation for review to inform OPWDD staff of policy changes.
-Serve as managed care plan liaison to the existing specialized IDD Demonstration, coordinating with NYS DOH and Maximus regarding system processing. Provide plan policy support and individual managed care enrollment issue resolution. Facilitate contract amendments and oversee marketing and plan benefit construction, in conjunction with CMS and DOH.
