Duties Description Act as the liaison with Human Resources and manage ACQ’s Personnel activities, including reclassification requests and requests to fill.
Coordinate AQC office support activities such as equipment and office space requests and the resolution of information technology and computer application issues.
Assist with set up of quarterly staff meetings, presentations, and conferences.
Facilitate the purchase of goods and services for the office and resolve purchasing and payment issues.
Track and prepare status reports on AQC Professional Staff’s compliance with annual Continuing Education requirements as well as OCFS annual mandated training requirements.
Review office staffing patterns and work methods to make recommendations.
Work with OCFS’s external Audit Liaison and coordinate activities within OCFS to gather information, draft a response and submit the response to the Director of AQC for approval.
Provide supervision to a Secretary 1 position

Additional Comments Background Investigation Requirements:

2) All prospective employees will be screened against the Statewide Central Register of Child Abuse and Maltreatment (SCR). Prospective employees will be required to pay any necessary fees.
3) For Division of Juvenile Justice and Opportunities for Youth (DJJOY) prospective appointees will be checked against the Staff Exclusion List (SEL) maintained by the Justice Center for the Protection of People with Special Needs. Prospective employees whose names appear on the SEL as having been found responsible for serious or repeated acts of abuse or neglect will be barred from appointment and may have their names removed from the eligible list(s) for the title(s) if applicable.
