Minimum Qualifications Transfer
Must have one year of permanent service as a Licensed Psychologist;

Must have one year of permanent service in a title eligible for transfer under § 70.1 of the Civil Service Law;

Must have one year of permanent service in a title within two (2) salary grades of G-25, and have a passing score and current status on the Licensed Psychologist eligible list to be eligible for transfer under § 70.4 of the Civil Service Law;

Duties Description As a Licensed Psychologist, you would supervise and/or provide professional psychological services. In addition to assessment and treatment, your duties may include:

• Clinical leadership.
• Program Management.
• Psychological services requiring expertise in neuropsychology, child and adolescent psychology, sex offense treatment.
• Forensic or court ordered assessment, treatment and expert testimony.
• Specialized assessment (functional, personality, risk, competency, vocational, education)
• Design and application of behavioral technology and other specialized psychological interventions.
• Crisis intervention.
• Training.
• Peer review.

Additional Comments • Please note, the posted Hiring Salary includes the sum of the statutory hiring rate for PS&T Grade 25 ($86,432), along with any special salary treatments in effect for this position in this location, such as an Increased Hiring Salary ($10,980) and Downstate Adjustment ($3,026).
