Minimum Qualifications Current NYS Department of Health (DOH) employee with permanent or contingent-permanent, competitive status as a Health Program Administrator 1 (G23) OR a NYS employee with one year or more of permanent or contingent-permanent, competitive service in a title at or above a (G21) and deemed eligible for transfer to Health Program Administrator 1 (G23) under Section 70.1 or Section 52.6 of the NYS Civil Service Law.
Preferred Qualifications: ? Strong computer skills, including experience using databases.
? Ability to interpret written communications from the public and others.
? Excellent written, communication and interpersonal skills.
? Strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
? Ability to coordinate multiple tasks.
Duties Description 1. Prepare, manage and submit miscellaneous and grant contracts.
2. Monitor OPMC contracts working with program directors to ensure contract terms are met and vouchering accurately and promptly completed.
3. Supervise purchasing and accounts payable.
4. Track expenditures and provide quarterly reporting.
5. Assist with annual budget preparation, submission and tracking.
6. Oversee miscellaneous non-employee spending.
7. Assist Director of Administrative Services as necessary with business management of the office.
